The pickAtime system can create appointment schedules under four different scenarios:

Parent Teacher Appointment Scheduling - PTA

The pickAtime Parent Teacher Appointment Scheduler - PTA is a unique scheduling product whereby parents can log in and view the schedule of available appointments for only the teacher their child has a class with. This product is designed to be used for schools that have approximately 20+ teachers. A demo of this product is available at Parent Teacher Conference Scheduling - PTA. To set up this type of scheduler start with the Parent Teacher Appointments section of the User Manual.

Parent Teacher Appointment Scheduling - Simple PTA

The pickAtime Parent Teacher Appointment Scheduler - Simple PTA version is a product designed for smaller schools. In this product the teachers that a particular student has a class with are not predetermined, and parents will view a list of ALL teachers at the school. We recommend this product to schools with 20 or fewer teachers. A demo of this product is available at: Parent Teacher Conference Scheduling - Simple PTA. To set up this type of scheduler start with the Simple PTA section of the User Manual. If you would like to discuss which Parent Teacher Appointment Product is right for your school please email the pickAtime team at support@pickatime.com

Event Scheduling

Our event scheduling system is designed for our clients who would like to allow their customers to book appointments for a one time event. An event can occur across many days or weeks. The employee will go to the website, pick the location, select the time, and book the appointment.

Some examples of single/multiple event scheduling are:

  • Flu Shot Sign-ups
  • Health and Wellness Screenings
  • Admission Interviews
  • School Tours
  • Training Events

A demo of this product is available at: Event Demo. To set up this type of scheduler start with the Event Scheduling section of the User Manual.

Periodic (ongoing) Event Scheduling

Our periodic event scheduling system is for our clients who have an inventory of appointment times that repeat every week. The client sets up the weekly schedule, and the pickAtime system will produce that schedule each week for some number of weeks in the future. Of course, modifications to the schedule, for example for holidays, vacation days etc. can be made. You can show some or all of the slots to the customer.

A demo of this product is available at: Periodic Event Demo. To set up this type of scheduler start with the Periodic Event Scheduling section of the User Manual.

Your school should have provided specific prompts for you to fill in. Typically, these will be a studentID and the student birthdate. The student birthdate in most cases should be entered in the format mm/dd/yy (e.g. 04/12/99). Some schools will use the student first name + student last name (e.g. BenjaminFranklin) for the first prompt.
