The Customer User Interface (CUI) is where your customers will schedule their appointments. There are three ways your customers can access your pickAtime CUI from the Internet.
You can put a link to the CUI in your website.
You can incorporate the pickAtime CUI into your web site as a frame, so that your customers remain on your website and see your brand around the CUI. http://www.pickatime.com/demoschool.htm is an example of how to do this. Use "View Source" from your browser to see the contents of this file. Feel free to save it onto your webserver. Make sure you alter the vendor ID from 11600096 to your vendor number (found on the reports page), and also make your own demoschool2.htm file.
PickAtime can create a URL and host it for a one time fee. Your customers will go to something like http://www.pickatime.com/yourcompany.htm. We can put your company's logo and any messages you want at the top. Please email or phone us and we will create the page for you (there is a small charge for this service).
An event within the CUI can be automatically selected by adding the "&event=yyy" argument to the URL. This is useful for providing different web pages for different customers. For example a school might provide a different web page for the parents to sign up for the parent teacher conferences than the page that the students use to make counselor appointments. The event numbers are found on the reports page.
If you use the "&evt=yyy" argument to the URL, then the customer will not be able to see any of the other events on the account. If you use the "&event=yyy" argument, the customer will be taken directly to that event, but will have the option of viewing the other events.
Vendors with existing customers can require the customer to enter a unique customer ID when they create their account. This can be accomplished by putting "&key=true&ID=zzz". zzz can be set to any of the customer fields that you have set up on your account. Those values are found on the reports page.
